The purpose of the I-270/MD 121-Cabin Branch Project Planning Study was to improve transit accessibility and provide safety and capacity improvements at the I-270/MD 121 interchange as a result of the Cabin Branch development; a 540-acre, mixed-use development site.  Arranged and participated in agency field reviews with the US FWS, US COE, MD Department of Planning, EPA, Metropolitan Planning Organization, MHT, NPS, and FHWA. An Environmental Assessment Form, Project Consistency Report, Project Review Checklist, and Categorical Exclusion were completed and submitted to the Federal Highway Administration.
